Pregnancy is one of the most important processes in the lives of women, on a physical, energetic and emotional level. The context and state of these three levels extend to the baby.
Yoga develops a communication path with the baby and helps to live this process in a conscious, happy and intense way. It is a safe practice that ensures good health during pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal period.
There are Yoga positions designed to maintain the health of the mother and avoid the usual aches, nausea, constipation, bloating, headache, etc. Other Yoga Asanas ensure proper digestion, circulation and breathing, which is essential to avoid fatigue, stress and eliminate toxins, balancing both mind and body and providing emotional wellbeing. Asanas are carefully chosen to ensure maximum space for the fetus, granting its free growth and movement in the womb of the mother. Other Yoga postures are specifically designed to facilitate natural childbirth. They are only naturally gentle exercises that feed the tissues of the mother and the baby.
Yoga can be used therapeutically to alleviate problems that afflict the mother. This can even methodically help turn the baby’s head if it is not in the correct position, making the delivery easier.
